January – It is again that time of the year when you have more activities & shows/exhibitions happening in and around the city of Chennai! Every year, this month is packed with Pongal Celebrations, Book Exhibitions, Trade Shows, Plant/ing Shows, Furniture show cum Sales etc. – to name a few and this year a no less!!! One of the biggest Cactus & Succulents Show is about to start during this Pongal Holidays from 13th to 15th January, 2019 in Dakshinachitra located on the ECR, Chennai! Its jointly organised by Dakshinachitra, Sorrel s and a famous Bonsai group of Chennai!
I am very much excited and more than happy to be a part of this wonderful program and I am grateful to Dr. Gohul Balan of Sorrel s and Mr. Sharat of Dakshinachitra for giving me this wonderful opportunity to exhibit my collection of Cactus and Succulent Plants like last year! Not only me, many other similar enthusiasts are participating in this event to exhibit their own collection of plants.
It is a great opportunity for Cactus & Succulents lovers to see and experience the different Cactus & Succulent Collection from various Cactus & Succulent Growers in the city. Not only Cactus n Succulents, there is going to be a Bonsai Exhibition, Vegetable carving display, Plant Exhibition etc. Also there will be plenty of sale stalls for buying Cactus & Succulent plants, Ornamental plants, Seeds, Equipment, Bonsai plants, House plants, Flowering Plants, Indoor/Outdoor plants, Miniature gardens/Dish s (Sorrel s) etc. Not only plants, you can buy different pots/planters for your gardening needs from a separate Pot sale stalls.(The Pot Boutique)
Dakshinachitra is a place where lot of cultural and fun activities takes place throughout the year attracting many tourists around the globe.
